Performance highlights
Privacy and light control
Vane rotation changes sightlines, but gaps and stack-back expose portions of the opening. Rotation gives useful control, though it is less precise when vanes are moving or stacked.
Concrete limitation: Sightlines and daylight change with the actual material, closure and mount.
Room darkening
Specialty fabrics and overlap help; the headrail and side gaps remain weak points.
Concrete limitation: Edge coverage, headrail detail and mounting geometry can still admit light.
Thermal behavior
The track and separated vanes leave more discontinuities than a close cellular or panel system.

Moisture and care
Vinyl may tolerate damp areas better than fabric, subject to the exact product instructions. Dust vanes and keep carriers and the traverse track free of grit.

Confirm stack side, door handles, floor clearance and headrail support before ordering. Vanes can swing, separate or crease, and the track needs periodic cleaning and alignment.
